Karate Instructor Pleads Guilty to Sexual Assault

According to the Chicago Tribune, a suburban man who taught karate in South Elgin and Roselle admitted guilt to three counts of aggravated sexual assault. He was charged with engaging in sexual contact with two teenage girls between 2003 and 2005 when he was their karate instructor. The man has been a patient at Central DuPage Hospital since he was injured in a fall that took place while he was in custody at the DuPage County jail.  The fall has left the man permanently paralyzed from the waist down.
